Kick Off For Play4Agile

Today, I made my way to Seminarzentrum Rückersbach, a small retreat close to Frankfurt, where the second Play4Agile takes place.

Play4Agile is a gathering of experienced peers from all over the world to create and play games in an inspiring environment. — Play4Agile Wiki

The event started off with a get-together in the hotel bar. There was plenty of finger food and the chance to meet new and interesting people or (for noticeably many) to catch up with old acquaintances.

After a half hour delay, to wait of those who were still trying to make their way due to a strike at Frankfurt Airport, the welcome session started. First, we did a warm-up exercise to get all the participants moving. After that, we randomly introduced ourselves to fellow participants with strength, intelligence and agility, and enjoyed the self portrait of the counterpart. The session ended with a round of Lightning Talks.

Finally, most people probably ended up in the hotel bar again, to top off the evening.

Tomorrow – I guess – it’ll start after breakfast with an Open Space. I’m very much looking forward to it!
